Welcome to Home of Batavia Youth Baseball (BYB)

Welcome to the home of Batavia Youth Baseball

Now in our 60th year, BYB is an all-volunteer organization offering a quality baseball program for the children of Batavia and Mooseheart.  Our programs serve over 1,200 players age 6 to 17 with over 90 teams.  With no financial support from any local government,  BYB raises funds through local sponsors, donations, and player fund raising. BYB is in constant need of adult volunteers to coach, prep fields, sell concessions, umpire games, etc.  We encourage and need your assistance.  BYB holds monthly board meetings (open to the public) on the second Tuesday of each month at the Batavia Civic Center, 327 W. Wilson, 7:30 PM during the off-season, 8:30 PM during the season May through July.

2016 Holiday Baseball Camp

Batavia Youth Baseball will conduct a two-day baseball skills camp for all players eligible to participate in Batavia Youth Baseball. The camp is run by Coach Brian Krolikowski, the BYB Travel Program Baseball Instructor.

 Details are below.

  1. "Adopt A Bag" Drive - Reach out to our Batavia families and see if anyone can help with donations of gift bags and gift cards (details down below in this email).  There are two ways to drop off bags and gift cards
    1. Drop off on Tues Dec 13th 5:30-8:00pm at Louise White School.
    2. Drop off anytime now until Dec 12th at Kristen Gorski's house at Address: 590 Ozier Dr, Phone: 630-632-7766
  2. Volunteer on Dec 13th - Looking for 10 BYB volunteers to help at Bag Drop Off Dec 13th from 4:45pm-8:00pm at Louise White School.  Adults are preferred unless the boys are in middle school and could use service hours.  Anyone interested in volunteering can email John Szuberla at .

If you would like to help by “Adopting a Bag, “ we would love to have the help! Bags have identical ingredients although may vary by brand, which is perfectly fine! Following is the list of ingredients:
“Adopt A Bag”
One BROWN GROCERY BAG (they stand up and pack better) to include:
1 med. Laundry detergent
4 pack toilet paper
1 Box Kleenex
4 pack of bar soap
1 full size shampoo

Again, please use a brown paper bag, not plastic.
If you are interested in helping out, please comment below on how many bags you are committing to.
DROP OFF - Bags can be dropped off at Louise White Elementary School during regular school hours DECMBER 5th - 9th. Please do not bring them prior to that date as the staff is extremely busy . Thank you so much for helping out with this project! We are grateful!

As always, we would really appreciate your gift card drive that you do.  Movie Theater tickets, Aldi, gas cards, Target, Kohl’s & restaurants most requested are:
