Now in our 60th year, BYB is an all-volunteer organization offering a quality baseball program for the children of Batavia and Mooseheart. Our programs serve over 1,200 players age 6 to 17 with over 90 teams. With no financial support from any local government, BYB raises funds through local sponsors, donations, and player fund raising. BYB is in constant need of adult volunteers to coach, prep fields, sell concessions, umpire games, etc. We encourage and need your assistance. BYB holds monthly board meetings (open to the public) on the second Tuesday of each month at the Batavia Civic Center, 327 W. Wilson, 7:30 PM during the off-season, 8:30 PM during the season May through July.
BYB 60th Anniversary Banquet - March 5th!
Batavia Youth Baseball is turning 60! To celebrate with the community, BYB is hosting a banquet...at a baseball field! Come join us at Fifth Third Park (home of the Kane County Cougars) in Geneva on Saturday, March 5th. Tickets are $40/person, or you can reserve a table of 8 for $320.
All proceeds help fund our Scholarship and Financial Aid programs, as well as maintain our fields and facilities.
Batavia Youth Baseball is offering scholarships for higher education course work tuition for young persons who have participated in the BYB program while growing up and are now pursuing a career requiring post-secondary education.
Depending on the number of eligible submissions, there will be between two to four scholarships awarded ranging between $500 to $1,000.
