Tournament Teams
BYB will typically field Tournament Teams from 9U - 13U (based on interest). The Tournament Teams allow players and families to experience ‘travel baseball’ without the full-time commitment. The players participate in a full-time in-house schedule and then experience a higher level of competition by participating in a few weekend Chicagoland tournaments and additional practices. Additional benefits / considerations for Tournament Teams include:
- Less time commitment for busy families / players in other sports
- Can still participate with friends via BYB in-house programs
- Lower cost than full-time program
- A chance to ‘test’ travel baseball
- Allows players to grow into full-time teams especially at younger ages
Ages
Varies from season to season based on interest.
When
Tournaments typically begin after house-league season ends and typically can run through the end of July.
GAMES
Tournaments are typically Chicagoland based.
Practices
Practice schedule is determined by the Coach but is schedule around house league activities.
Jerseys
Jerseys are provided as part of the registration fee.
